Somehow, we forgot to share Oly & El’s “honeymoon photos” from the Rabbit Advocates photoshoot back in June...

Clearly, we’ve been falling behind on our bunny publicity duties 😅

Current Forecast: 100% Chance of Fur ☁️

He has the most plush fur of our 4 buns, but wow, Olaf is such a fluff! This funny little furry moment features a bundle of fur we gently removed from him a few days ago during their breakfast 😳

Everybun at our house is in some phase of their seasonal molt and here's what we're doing to help the fur pass through their GI tract:

🌾Piling on the hay
💧Rinsing & refilling their water bowls often
🪮Gently removing loose fur as needed
💩Keeping a close eye on their appetite and poops

To have a little fun with it, we've been treating them to a little oat hay and a different brand of timothy mixed in with their regular one. We're also making sure they get lots of run time because physical movement supports normal gut motility 🌱

Bonded bunny tip: Even if a rabbit isn’t shedding, if they’re grooming an extra fluffy friend they could be ingesting just as much fur as the one that is molting. At our house, we're keeping as close of an eye on El as we are on Olaf (and of Lucy as Stuey).

When Bunnies Place the Hay Order 🤪

After the whole forgetting to post the honeymoon pics fiasco, we had to make it up to Oly & El so we let them put in the hay order.

Well today it showed up and little did we know that they decided to add a whole new line of hay to the shop...
