Did you know that black bunnies and white bunnies often wait longer to be adopted due to a phenomenon called "plain phenomenon"?

For instance, Bunderland bunny Olaf waited in foster care over 2 years before he found his forever home with us 💔

Factors like black animal superstition or red-eyed bias, difficulty in photographing or simply lack of visual variety contribute to many wonderful bunnies (and other species of pets) being overlooked while so many others find their forever homes.

Local rescues Avalon Microsanctuary, Cannon Beach Bunny Rescue and Rabbit Advocates have some wonderful adoptable black & white bunnies, some of which have been in foster care for over a year 😢

One adorable adoptable is Ellie, who hopped by our shop yesterday for a nail trim. If you're looking for a friendly, playful and curious bunny - or possible husbun for your single lady bun - submit an adoption application today. Ellie is one of the bunnies currently available to adopt through Cannon Beach Bunny Rescue.
